If you think elves are busy this time of year....
take a look at what Ethan has been up to!
He made his first gingerbread house and boy is he proud of it. He couldn't wait to show Daddy his house. Yes, he did have some help. The house was made my mommy, who also put icing dots in place for him to add candy. BUT he did choose where to put the candy and what kind to put in most places. Okay...Mommy couldn't allow him to make one window an M&M while all the others were gumdrops, but he did do most of the work....really he did! Just check out that cool patterning along the side path leading to the door of the house. That was ALL Ethan.
And he's also been busy choosing and decorating a Christmas tree. On Monday we tromped through the snow to find our own "little" tree. We ended up choosing a not so little tree. It was the first time I needed two ladders and the stairs to decorate a tree. Ethan thought it was great fun to need to be big to decorate the tree. He loved handing Mommy and Daddy the ornaments since he didn't have the patience to really put them on the tree.
We'll show you a picture of the tree next time, since I didn't take one of it all finished yet. Hope you are having fun preparing for our Savior's birth!
