The second half of July
Although I was busy traveling to and from Girl's Camp every day, we did sneak in sometime for a day trip to the coast. Most of this summer has been rainy. For once we had a day with some sun peaking out now and then. Ethan had fun with Mimi and exploring the rocks with his Daddy.
We also had some time for a stop at Gifford's. YUM!
In fact....there were several times we had ice cream. I think these may be two of Ethan's favorite words. He calls it 'ceam', but you know from the smile and the hopeful look EXACTLY what he means!
Ethan had fun taking Mimi for walks, playing on Clippity, reading, watching Sesame Street and the many other things that keep a two year old busy. Before Mimi went home Ethan got a late birthday present. It's one he'll need to grow into, but his spirit sure is ready, even if his legs aren't long enough!
Ethan sure missed Mimi when she returned home, but it was good knowing we'd be seeing her again REAL soon. AND we'd also be seeing Papa. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
