If you give a Mommy coffee....

I'm trying to catch up on some posts. Things have been a bit busy around here.

For those who enjoy children's books, you maybe familiar with the books "If you give a mouse a cookie", "If you Give a Moose a Muffin", or "If you Give a Pig a Pancake". For those who aren't familiar with the books they are great little book on cause and effect. For example...if you give a moose a muffin, the moose will want some blackberry jam. Then the moose will want more and eat them all so you'll need to make more. Which means you'll have to go to the store for muffin mix. And so on....

Well...here's our version. If you give a Mommy some coffee, she may let the left over coffee get cold. Then she'll think some iced coffee would be a good afternoon pick me up. Because of the pick me up she'll have funny ideas, like doing a painting project with a particular two year old. While she's gathering things for the project the two year old will want some iced coffee.



Then they'll go paint.

If you give a particular two year old paint, he'll say "Mess" and want to get cleaned up.



After much prompting and help the two year old will make something that resembles a tree. But will not be interested in doing more because again, things are a MESS.


So the two year old will pull his hair out in frustration about the mess and end up with green hair.


Ah....I think I need some coffee!
