Apple Picking 2012

The other week we took our annual trip to the orchard. Ethan has declared he doesn't like apples. I wasn't sure how things would go, since the boy felt there wasn't much in it for him. But we told him he was part of the family and no, we wouldn't go while he was at school, he had to go! Thankfully, it was a sunny afternoon both weather and disposition wise! Ethan led the way and had fun helping Daddy fill the bag. Ethan's an expert picker- he had a field trip to a different orchard a few days later. Again, he said he wasn't thrilled, but he was full of smiles with his friends and wasn't the "bad apple" in the bushel!

Now to turn those yummy apples into pie, sauce, and other treats!
