Still Waiting...

June 8th has arrived and now passed. Our little one seems quite content to remain "hidden" from us. We've had some excitement though, while waiting. On the 7th I went for a doctor's appointment and when listening to the heartbeat, an arrhythmia was discovered. The afternoon/evening included an ultrasound and monitoring. The baby appears healthy and this does not seem life threatening, but we've still had an introduction to the reality of parenting. The 8th was also an emotional day as I finished my last day as a public school teacher. (You may be able to take the teacher out of the classroom, but I don't know if you can take the teacher out of the person!) It was a bittersweet day. And now we settle in for the waiting!
