Mommy's litttle helper

Santa may have his elves, but Mommy's got Ethan! Today I was baking gingerbread cookies and thought Ethan might try his hand at squishing some dough. I pulled a stool up to the counter and let him see what he could do. He managed to bang the cookie cutter around quite a bit and then mush it into the dough several times so that one man cut into another, but eventually we made a few that were able to go on the cookie sheet. He thought it was fun to try and use the rolling pin. In the end though, his favorite part was licking the spatula and eating the cookies! By the look on his face, the cookies were a hit.
