Super Why

Ethan dressed up as Super Why for Halloween. Some may ask, "Super Who?" Well, Super Why is a character on a cool PBS cartoon that Ethan loves. Super Why has the power to read and the show reinforces letters and early reading skills. Plus it has a cool theme song! So Ethan has been loving having the costume in the house and several days has dressed up as Super Why. He was excited about dressing up, but he was quite shy when we visited three neighbors houses. He was even quiet with his favorite next door neighbors.

More than the costume though, I love something else he's been doing recently! The other day he spread out some bottle caps that were lettered with some ABC's around the living room. He grabbed his magnifying glass and started hopping from letter to letter, looking at each and then naming them. In the show Super Why, AlphaPig does this regularly. It's too cute to see his imagination take off!
