Getting the "perfect" tree

Like many of you we headed outdoors to find the "perfect" tree. This year, we had the "perfect" day. The morning began with light snow. Perfect to cover up the dull brown we'd been seeing since rain melted all our snow. It as a fluffy snow that made you happy to be out and about.



Ethan was very excited about finding our tree. He was quite glad I think that we weren't bringing in the old tree from last year that you could still see in the back woods! He even wanted to bring his sled.




We headed to a place we'd visited before, but pickings were slim. However, we soon found one that we thought would work great. YEAH for quick picks! Even though it was quick, it still took some time to load her up and tie her down. A thermos of hot chocolate hit the spot!
