Merry Christmas!
Here are some photos from our Christmas celebration. Hope you and your loved ones have been joyfully celebrating as well.
Ethan ready to help distribute gifts.
Lydia likes the paper.
He did get underwear! Mommy told Ethan this might be a different kind of Christmas. Like he might get some things he needs, not just fun stuff. For example, he might get underwear. They joked lots about which package might be the underwear, so when he really did open a package of underwear there was a good laugh!
Daddy likes his gift from Ethan. Ethan had made a gift for Mommy days before Christmas and put it under the tree. For a long time it was the only gift under the tree. The night before our Christmas Ethan decided to make a gift for Daddy. It was so sweet to see his presents waiting there before all the others were added.
Our pretty Lydia's first Christmas!
Ethan is enjoying his gifts!
Would you like to join me for a cup of tea?
Don't be fooled by the dress. I'm a tough cookie! Watch out brother!!!!
For Ethan it was a football Christmas. The morning after he got this Steelers hat, I woke him up and found the hat in bed beside him. :) What does that say?
Christmas morning. (Todd was working all Christmas day, so we celebrated as a family earlier in the week. On Christmas Day Ethan was eager to see what Santa brought.)
Lydia was busy investigating new things.
Ethan kept his list pretty simple. He loves the Cars movies and re-enacts races daily. So, two car haulers and some cars made up the bulk of his list. He was kind of disappointed about not getting any cars. Look what he found at the bottom of his stocking!
May you enjoy slower days to play and reflect and rest! (And if you have little ones, may you have energy to play, ideas to fill the hours, and savor the moments when they are both sleeping and awake!)
