Moving in and settling in.

One of the reasons December was so busy is because we bought a new house! We closed on the new house right before Christmas, and decided to move mid-January. January 15th was moving day! So this week has been a VERY busy one! Here's a view of our new home.

We settled in enough the other day to take a break and enjoy being outside. We strapped on some snowshoes and went for a little walk.

The new house is on a pond, and includes a great hill down to the water. So, since the pond was frozen, we cleared off some space for sliding around. We also tried out the hill with the sleds. As Ethan said, "Awesome!"

It was a great afternoon. I am so thankful for the time to enjoy God's creation from this new place. It's good to settle in.
