God's Provision- Catching our Breath
The past few weeks have been busier than I'd like. I was really starting to feel out of sorts. And then God provided in an unusual way. Isn't that so like our Father?
Thursday began as another busy day. Take Ethan to school. Swing by the store for groceries. Drive home. Figure out if Lydia will take a nap since we've been on the go and her schedule seems a bit shaken up. Try to get the bathrooms cleaned while Lydia is trying to settle down. (Because Lydia and bathrooms are a whole other story!)
And then....the phone rings. It's Ethan's school, and he's not feeling well. So, I get Lydia and back into the car we go.
We come home and Ethan watches a lot of TV, but it's a sick day, and a strangely warm rainy day, and well, we're all tired. Oh for a morning that's calm...without having to rush and drive and strive.
And that's exactly what God provides on a sick day. Ethan wakes up with a fever during the night and so we stay home. He's not feeling too badly, but we lay low. We had a morning with coloring.
