First camping trip of the summer
With school out and a busy July a head of us, we decided to go on a camping trip with a family from church. We loaded up the gear and drove up towards Canada. Ethan and Lydia enjoyed the water almost as soon as we got there.
Lydia's first venture in the water. I think she liked it, don't you?
Beautiful view of Chain of Ponds.
Enjoying our picnic lunch upon arrival.
We had a great time fellowshipping and sharing. The kids did a really good job. Ethan was quite a help and it was neat to see him open up to Miss Sharon. Lydia kept us entrained with her growling noises and ability to trip and not cry. We enjoyed some good food, time to sit around the fire, laugh, and talk, and a short kayak trip. VERY short...but that's kind of what life is like at this time.
Lydia came home with quite the battle wounds though. She's sweet and the bugs know it! Poor kid looked really rough. This is actually after she's recovered a bit. Those bites don't take away from the cuteness though!
