Growing boy

Ethan's six weeks old and is showing his mommy and daddy many new skills. The best of which is his smile! Check out that last picture. Doesn't that just melt your heart? Ethan flashes that smile in the morning when he's having his diaper changed or playing. It's one of the best moments of the day. Besides smiling, this bright eyed boy is playing on his mat and batting at the things hung above him. They are totally random swats, of course, but still we rejoice in the time he focuses on things around him. He also enjoys sitting in his bouncy seat and watching the starfish spin and the fish move. The swing has become a favorite evening activity. Bath time is also becoming more fun. In no time at all the water will be splashing! Ethan's still working on settling down for naps, but both he and his parents are learning and growing.
