Ethan's Doings

What has Ethan been up to? He's now the STAIR MASTER! For a long time he's been able to climb the stairs. Thankfully, he was usually willing to wait until Mommy or Daddy was there behind him. BUT now that he's mastered doing down the steps, too, things could get interesting.

He still loves his boots and enjoys going outside. The other day he was eager to head off to visit our neighbors, almost like we were late for an appointment!

His other joy currently seems to be helping Mom in the kitchen. He seems ever so happy perched on the counter or standing on a chair to help Mommy cook. So far he's helped make scones, baked oatmeal, and waffles. By the time he's on his own, he'll be quite the chef!

He's also keeping busy playing with his toys. For so long anything was a toy, but now he's looking for the actual toys and putting them into use. He loves bowling with his penguins and is quite good at putting his puzzles together. He's also training to be a good daddy one day and is feeding his baby a bottle. During his training "the instructor" taught him to feed the baby and then burp the baby. Of course, a sound effect had to be used, so the baby gave a nice, hearty burp. When Ethan does it, it's hilarious! He feeds the baby carefully, put him up to his shoulder and then proceeds to crush the baby in what looks like a Heimlich maneuver and includes a mighty sound effect. What a BOY!

This morning we started a new adventure. Ethan has been using his utensils with great skill, and so we decided to try adding MILK to his cereal. YUM! He thought it was quite good as the pictures show.
