An oldie, but a goodie

At 10 months of age Ethan thought his excersaucer was a great place to be.

This week he found the excersaucer in the basement and had a trip down memory lane. It's STILL pretty cool!

Actually, he knows a lot of things on the saucer. He can now say apple and banana. He can make the animal sounds himself...the ones that Mommy used to make because they never put batteries in the thing. And he's able to appreciate the puppet like he didn't when he was younger.

It's amazing how much our baby has become a little boy. This week I really seemed to notice changes. He's able to communicate quite a bit...even if the whole word isn't there. He's walking up and down steps holding onto railings....by himself! He's able to head out the door and run outside all without Mommy being there...and especially when Mommy isn't wanting him to. He's able to eat quite well and even handles things like a cup and eating soup with ease. He really likes Mexican food....should we have named him Jose? AND he doesn't like letting Mommy pick his books and he doesn't like doing to bed and our nightly routine isn't as peaceful as it used to be. Sniff sniff....he's growing up!
