Doing Spring Things
This spring like weather we've been having has us doing all kinds of spring things. Now, granted, I take the coldest day we've had to document our spring activities, so bear with me! The other day we broke out the bubbles and had a bunch of fun. Today we were out for about 15 minutes before our hands were too cold. From the look on his face though, he isn't minding the cold too much.
We've also been playing on the swing, the slide, and in the sandbox. Bring on the warm weather. But when the weather doesn't cooperate we still have fun inside. One of Ethan's favorite things to do is make patterns. Sounds strange, but you have to realize we use jelly beans to make the patterns, and of course that means you get to eat some too. Now you know why he likes it! He's gotten the concept down pretty well. I lay out some colored squares and he then places the matching color jelly bean on the square. He tells me the colors and now takes great delight in asking, "What's next?" and telling me the answer.
So, enjoy doing some spring things this weekend!
