Apple Picking Day

This year Ethan went apple picking TWO times.


We traveled to the orchard one nice sunny September day with his class. Ethan was quite happy being with Mommy and a few friends. He also learned the correct way to pick an apple and had fun filling up his own little bag.


But our family went apple picking a second time in October. It was a wonderful day to be out and about. Ethan enjoyed picking another bag of apples. But this time he had to be careful and follow Daddy's direction as well, since Daddy wanted a variety of kinds of apples and wanted to also keep track of which ones were which. Ethan was probably more patient with that than his Mommy!




Besides picking our appples we also took home a huge sack of drops. This made Mommy very happy. Can't wait to have apple crisp, apple pie, apple cake, apple muffins, apple sauce, and apple butter! YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that's called a fruitful trip!
