Sleep, remember?

A post about sleep. How boring? Hope you don't all drift off to dreamland reading it.

For a mom though, sleep is an interesting topic. At the end of last week our little girl slept through the night. In fact she did it several nights in a row. There was great rejoicing (Even though she wasn't really shaking up the night too much to start with me). Way to go, Lydia. Mom's excited!

It was especially nice for this to happen since Ethan was up more due to a cold. Poor guy. A fever seemed to really knock him down. For several nights he was my bed buddy. So much for sleep for Mommy. One night I was up helping him for the umpteenth time and just kind of propped on my elbow and waited a bit to see if he needed anything. Ethan looks up and says, "Mommy, we're supposed to be sleeping, remember?"

Yes, Ethan, I remember sleep. Now Lydia has the cold. Poor girl. Hope she gets over it soon. Mommy's a little tired.
