Winter Fun

I'm a little behind again! A week ago we had winter break. For the first time in several years, we had snow! We did some snowshoeing and sledding. Then last week we had more snow. So pretty! Yes, clean up can be bothersome, but it helps knowing it's the downhill side of winter! Instead of grumbling about cleaning off the car, shoveling the paths, snowplowing the driveway, and raking the roof, I've chosen to see winter through the eyes of my kids. Some snow fun for Lydia. She loved touching the cold snow. All was fine until she decided the snow was better on the floor than in the bin. Like everything else, snow went in her mouth! Ethan had a better idea. Make snow cream and then put it in your mouth. Lydia like Big Brother's idea! The simple pleasures of winter.
