Vacation

It's April vacation in these parts! Todd's Mom and Dad came to visit us April 16-21. We haven't seen them since Christmas, so seeing Ethan and how much he has grown was a real treat. On Thursday we hung around home most of the day and just enjoyed a slower day. Ethan had a good time playing with Mimi and showing her how all his toys worked. Friday we headed to Popham Beach. It was a gorgeous day! What a contrast to see remaining piles of snow in our yard and be at the beach without shoes on! It felt so good to be outside and to know that more nice days are coming. Everyone had a good time watching Ethan play. On Saturday Mimi, Papa, and Todd had time with Ethan while I went to a meeting about Girl's Camp. Ethan sure had a good time! Sunday seemed to be a busy day with church activities, but we managed to make a trip to Gifford's. Ethan share with me and was ready to devour all the ice cream he could. That evening we celebrated my birthday with a cake and presents. Ethan was ready to help with the bows and had a practice session for his soon approaching first birthday. It was such a special time of being together, and Monday came all to soon. We were grateful for the time we had together and look forward to the next time!
