On the Scene- Rain or Shine

So, like many of you in the Northeast, our outside playtimes have been quite soggy. It's gray, cool, and just plain yuck in my opinion. But that doesn't keep a good fireman down!

A plastic fireman coat is perfect for wet weather! I'm not sure what made the connection for Ethan, but he's headed outside several times all ready to put out a fire! (Gotta love the gloves, too! They're still around!) Today he also got out the "firetruck" since it was mostly just gray with a few sprinkles.





Here you can see him inspecting the truck. Because play always has to mirror life, he suddenly lost a tire on his fire truck, just like his Daddy did the other day on his pickup truck. (VERY strange...the tire just complete came off. Praises that nothing serious happened!) Then we had to wait for the tow truck to come. Glad there wasn't a fire while we waited.
