Asparagus

Spring is finally springing. I'm so excited! It always amazes me how quickly I being outside and playing in the dirt makes me. So I was delighted the other day to find these popping out in the garden.



In fact since a few spears were looking read we had our first taste of asparagus for supper yesterday. It was only a taste, but it was good.

And guess what? Ethan thought it was good too! I served it in a skillet mix of ham, rice, and green peas, and he picked out all the asparagus FIRST. Sometimes we wonder where he gets his taste buds from!
