Praying for Joplin, Missiouri

This past Sunday, Joplin, Missiouri, Todd's hometown, was hit by a major tornado. Our hearts and prayers are with these dear people. As we see photos, we know that life has been majorly changed in this place. We are so grateful that Todd's parents, his brother, and many other we know are safe and sound. It's almost hard to comprehend what we will see when we go out to visit in June.

Each day we are praying.

Praying for comfort for those who have lost loved ones.

Praying for provision for those who have lost homes, cars, and buisnesses.

Praying for God's strength and care for those who are helping to sift through the destruction.

Praying for peace as more storms continue to roll through the area.

Praying for the children to feel secure during a time that has been incredibly scary.

Praying for God's heart to beat strong in the body of His church as it reaches out to serve in love.

Praying for wisdom to guide those who must make many decisions in the weeks ahead and to deal with how life has been altered for them.

Praying for more peace to quell questions in minds, what ifs, and doubts. Praying for God's truth to be heard strong and clear and His grace to be seen in all things.
