Play Ball

First there was football and now there's baseball. The other day Ethan rediscovered his baseball, bat, and tee. We hit the ball a few times, but then added in some bases.

Like most things, Ethan had his own ideas about how to play the game. He added base A.

So, how do you play his version of the All-American game?

The batter, hits the ball and runs as he would in a normal game. First base. Second base. Third base. But then the runner takes a turn and goes back towards first base, where base A is located near by. Finally, you race to home.

The little guy is pretty good! It's a nice break to be out there playing with Ethan instead of him wanting you to watch. Most of the time he hits the balls toward me, but SOME times it's out of the park!

UPDATE! Apparently sometimes you don't have to use base A. If the light on the scoreboard isn't lit, you can play like "regular".
