A peek into our Christmas celebration
The countdown is over. Christmas is finally here! (He actually had to mark off the date and then erase the board before leaving his room Christmas morning. Oh my!)
Checking out some things left from Santa.
Stockings are so much fun. (Notice the sorting of items as he emptied the stocking. Oh my, oh my!)
I've been really good. Can we open presents now?
Taking a reading break! He's like his parents isn't he?
Cool new things to play with! He can hardly wait!
He's quite an expert at removing bows.
Daddy got some fun things too!
We are entering the world of LEGO. Some assembly required! Ethan did a great job working with Daddy on his truck.
Of course this was just a glimpse into our morning. We had a nice time together just the three of us. We read the Christmas story together, which Ethan had worked through during the entire month of December. Of course, he was quite happy when it came time to open presents. Then friends joined us for Christmas dinner. It was so nice to just visit and enjoy together time. Ethan had a good time playing and had a VERY hard time going to bed that night. Mommy wasn't having the same problem...she was tired!
My prayer that night was that we would truly celebrate Christ's coming in our hearts for much longer than just this one day!
