Flying the Friendly Skies

Ethan took his first plane ride today. What a fantastic job he did! We headed to the airport after lunch. When we arrived, he was fascinated by all the people. Once we grabbed something to eat and sat near our gate, he enjoyed sitting on Mommy’s lap and rocking. The first leg of our journey was to Cincinnati, and Ethan handled the plane like a pro! He slept during some of the trip. Although we were to come in a little bit late, we got there and on the next plane without any hassles. He was good during this flight, too, but got a little upset when we couldn’t find a comfortable place to sleep in Mommy’s arms. He was wide awake though to meet Mimi and Papa! He was able to sleep for some of the ride home, but it was a late night for our little boy.
