Keeping cool

It's back to school time here in Maine, and I've been praying for all those heading back to HOT classrooms and the challenges of the school year. For us this back to school week still feels like vacation. Todd has had time off and since it's SO hot we've been splashing in water in the back yard. I think Ethan was in the pool three times yesterday and wanted to go in before going to bed! (He was also undressed and ready to get in at 8 AM, so you see how much he's enjoying the pool!)

A strange creature has entered the pool. CAUTION!


The letter T! Mommy brought out the letters from the bathtub so we could play with ABC's while we played in the water. That silly Mommy!


He could spend endless hours pretending to dive off the diving board, which simply means he stands in one place then jumps to his knees....SPLASH!


Come on in! The water's fine!
