Desert of Maine

When you visit Maine there's always somewhere to visit. Nicole and I struck out to see some different sights after taking Mimi to the airport for her return flight. It was great to have Mimi here and we miss her, but we're glad Papa gets her back, too! We'll look forward to our next time to be together!

Besides visiting Eartha at the Delorme map store, we made a trip to the Desert of Maine.
A tram ride took us on a tour of the Desert, a strange geological feature left by glaciers that once covered the area.

Ethan had a chance to dig in the sand to find gems. He thought it was pretty neat.



So beaches or deserts, you never know what you'll find in Maine.
